Abstract  To this effect, it is possible to count 132 waterfowl species, distributed all around the spanish territory. The study of their ectoparasites has a notable importance from a philogenetic [sic], veterinary and medical point of view. This present work tries to call the attention about the importance of this study, and at the same time shows the mallophaga ectoparasites identification results from a certain number of waterfowl, recolected at the Navalcan damming, situated at the northeast of the province of Toledo.
Notes  Aparently a brief review of the chewing bird lice from spanish waterfowl. Includes a few colour plates.pdf Journal
