The paper includes good figures of male and females. The utility of this paper is further enhanced by a short note on relationships of the genus, and discounts any superficial relationship with the Trichodectidae and instead comments on homologies with Psitticonirmus. Ferris also concludes that the separate family Trichophilopteridae cannot justifiably be maintained and proposes that it be referred back to the Philopteridae.Journal
</style></notes></record></records></xml>
